‘VGMA Is A Scam’-Shatta Wale Lashes Out At Charterhouse In A Latest Song Dubbed ‘The Ban’ (Audio)

Infuriated Shatta Wale has dropped a diss song for the organisers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Charterhouse over the scheme banning him and Stonebwoy.

Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were banned from the VGMA following their scuffle on stage at the event last year which saw the latter pulling a gun out, disrupting the show and leading to their arrest.

Recently, there have been discussions on the pair’s ban with some industry players are advocating for their ban to be lifted.

The Executive Director of Charterhouse, Theresa Ayoade called on the media to rise above Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy and give equal attention to other artists as well as she urged them to focus on the forthcoming VGMA.

Shatta Wale in a rebuttal blasted the awards scheme using harsh words in a Facebook live feed we monitored.

The self-acclaimed dancehall king, however, has composed a song dubbed ‘ban’ which is a diss song to Charterhouse.

According to him, Charterhouse are ‘scamming’ Ghanaians were they use top brands like himself to lure Ghanaians to vote which makes them profits.

He indicated that Awards don’t feed him because he is making money and called on colleague artistes to stand up for their right before the same is done to them.

Shatta Wale in the song blasted Charterhouse as he disclosed that the ban has never affected his career and he is still recording hits.

The SM boss has spat out his ‘deadly’ venom to Charterhouse in his latest song.
