In the early hours of yesterday Sunday, July 26, 2020, announced that His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo will deliver his 14th nation address.

Well, doing justice to his promise, he delivered the speech and below are snippets of his speech.

First of all, Akufo Addo announced that COVID-19 seems to be epidemic which means the virus has come to stay with us, thus, Ghanaians must defy all odds and live a normal life.

With that notwithstanding, he announced that churches henceforth can contain more than 100 congregants and can worship for more than one hour.

Speaking further, he said tourist sites and drinking bars can now open and run their business like before. He also gave updates about the standings of the COVID-19 cases.

According to him, Ghana, as it stands now, has recorded 32,967 cases. Out of this,29,494 have recovered, leaving 3,307 active cases.

President Akufo-Addo also revealed that right after final year students finish writing their WASSCE, BECE and other exams respectively, all private and public schools will re-open.

Again, he said commercial busses can load fully like before.

Meanwhile, he still emphasized the use of nose mask and hand sanitizer and observing social distancing protocols.
