The finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta disclosed during his presentation of the mid-year budget review in parliament that, government has granted the local car manufacturer/assembler, Kantanka a license to proceed with official operation.
“An indigenous Ghanaian company, the Kantanka group, has been formally granted a license to continue its auto assembly operations in Ghana” the Minister said.
In addition to this license, the company of the locally celebrated car producer, Kantanka is expected to benefit from the set incentives under the Ghana Automotive Manufacturing Development Policy.

The manufacturing group was established by Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka in the year 1994 and has since then been involved in the production of highly rated vehicles that serve both private and commercial purposes.
