Beef is part of the music industry-Stonebwoy

Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has acknowledged that beefs are part of the music industry but insists it is not something he will encourage.

Stonebwoy was reacting to the ongoing beef between Sarkodie and three musicians Asem, Ball J and Shatta Wale amid coronavirus crisis.

Stonebwoy, himself once had a beef with Shatta Wale which was settled last year by a Billionaire Kofi Abban.

“In the entertainment industry, it always has to be tensed to get it going. It’s a battlefield literary and they say life is war. It applies everywhere. As far as I am concerned I see that yes people are releasing stuffs. I’m going about my stuffs as well releasing singles off my album…,” the dancehall act noted.

Beefs, he noted, are part of the music vibes but I do not “think beefs will bring us what we seek to achieve in a long run as an industry so I wouldn’t be one of the persons to encourage that part of the music scene”

The award-winning dancehall act is set to release his latest album, ‘Anloga Junction’ on April 24.
